ABOUT Ng wei bin
As a child I was always fascinated by the art of story telling. I believe that telling stories extend beyond the facilities of pure entertainment. Stories have the power to move people and allow them to feel emotions that they might be deprived of. In a sense, stories allow people to experience a catharsis and interact at a deeper level than it's entertaining qualities might suggest. As a visual effect artist I want to breathe life to these stories, so that these experiences can become more believable to the audiences. I hope to one day be able to tell my very own stories and hope to convey my emotions to others effectively.

I went through my internship at Omens Studios where I was tasked to light and composite 20 episodes of LEO the wildlife Ranger. I furthered my studies at the Savannah College of Art and Design to learn more about visual effects and further apply my core skills as a computer graphics generalist. During my studies, I was fortunate enough to be selected by the dean to participate in a collaborative project with the international sports brank Nike. In the collaboration, I applied my skills in visual effects to create a high quality shoe commercial that was managed in a houdini pipeline.
As a visual effects artist, I am often thinking of ways to make a process procedural and easily accessible for others. I hope that my work can not only make things easier but also be capital in its aesthetic qualities.
